Essential Oil Diffuser

A cold essential oil diffuser release oils into the air in a very, very fine mist. Because no heat is involved, the whole oil molecule stays intact, and you're breathing essential oils into the lungs, the air around is ionized and cleansed, odors and mold are neutralized, and the room smells great. If you have a lot of lung problems, are dealing with asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, allergies, coughing, sore throat or a stuffy head, consider using a diffuser around the house and at the office. It is one of the easiest ways to be introduced to essential oils and incredibly effective for cleaning the environment.

A diffuser is a small device that uses diffusion to disperse essential oils. Using an essential oil diffuser will allow the aroma of the oils to fill a room or an area with the oil's natural fragrance. Depending on the oil used, a diffuser serves as a natural and inexpensive air purifier. Aside from filling your room with fragrance and removing unwanted odors, it can effectively eliminate airborne pathogens like mold and mildew, dust and dust mites, and viruses and bacteria.

When used and diffused in the air, they can create a big difference in your health and well-being. These oils can do many things from calming to relaxing your tired mind and body, to relieving you of headache, lung problems, and other illnesses. Essential aromatic essences are even used to increase sensuality and improve your sex life. When diffused in the air, they can clean it of microbes, viruses, and bacteria. When they are used, molds and mildew disappear and your room becomes pleasantly scented.

A lamp ring is a device that contains a lamp and a ring which can be made from various materials such as metal or ceramic and placed over the lamp with a few drops of oil placed in the ring, the lamp then heats the oil. This type of lamp is not expensive but if any oil comes in contact with the bulb it could break the lamp or start a fire so care must be taken, heating the oil in this manner is less effective and could alter and change the therapeutic benefits of the oil.

The best kind of diffuser actually depends on your preference and needs. However, in general, an electric diffuser is considered to be by and large very safe, economical and convenient.Usually most liquids can be diffused readily but some thick liquids such as sandalwood and patchouli may be hard to diffuse. If you are using a diffuser that uses a nebulizer, avoid using patchouli and sandalwood as these may clog it.

Some of the simpler varieties of essential oils diffusers do not use electricity. Often, these will require a small candle or open flame to work. The flame is used to either heat up the oil directly or it heats a small rock that is then put in contact with the oil to warm it up. When the oil it heated up, the oil particles become looser and are able to float in the air, creating the scents that you love to enjoy. Most often, the candle or flame required is very small, and will be contained in a small protective area, so it cannot be knocked over easily by a pet or a child.

When choosing a diffuser, you should consider several factors. One is the size of the room. An electric nebulizer might be good for a large room, while smaller sources like a candle diffuser can handle smaller areas. Any diffuser that depends on heat should be watched closely and not left alone for long periods of time. Also, those with children should be careful using a diffuser with heat (such as the candle diffuser) when the little ones are around.
