Safflower Oil Reduces Belly Fat

Refuse to eat processed foods. If it's down one of the inner isles of the supermarket or it came in a box, a bag or shrink wrap, it was processed. Your diet should be mainly a combination of (in this descending order of importance) raw vegetables, steamed vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and possibly a few fruits if necessary.

MUFA's are the "good fats" helping to lower LDL & raise HDL cholesterol plus reducing belly fat will in turn help in reducing your risk of Cardiovascular Disease, Metabolic Syndrome, Type 2 Diabetes, Lowering your Blood Pressure, reducing the risk of Parkinson's Disease & reducing Internal Inflammation when eating MUFAs.

Safflower is also rich in linoleic acid, which is a healthy monounsaturated fat. Monounsaturated fats are good if consumed regularly and, according to researchers, can cut your risk of heart disease by up to 45%. Japanese scientists have also found that linoleic acid reduces the likelihood that you have a stroke. Safflower also triggers quick, dramatic reductions in cholesterol for about half of the people tested in a University of California study.

There are two options customarily open to you like Lap Band surgery ( whereby a band is surgically placed round the stomach to make a smaller stomach pouch meaning you can only eat little portions thus seriously reducing your calorie intake ) and Gut Bypass surgery ( whereby a tiny stomach pouch is again made and a new channel made through to the lower intestine bypassing lots of the tiny intestine meaning less nutrients are soaked up from your food ). Whatever option you select you'll need to take on a new more fit approach to life and make sure that diet and exercise remain top of your agenda.

Prior to transfatty acids the cooking medium was butter, palm oil, or lard with high saturated fat content. Later there was a conscious switch to vegetable oils but they tended to go rancid easily. Finally, they were 'hydrogenated' in order to attain a greater shelf life and it also withstood the rigors of food production better. An unavoidable by-product of this process is the transfatty acid and a contributor to belly fat.

You may think that skipping a meal will reduce the number of calories you consume in a day, which will help you lose weight. Wrong! Ever notice when you skip a meal, you eat even more the next time you do eat? Eating too much at a time causes your body to take whatever excess food you eat and store it as fat. Eating small meals every 3-4 hours will fire up your metabolism and let your body properly digest everything you eat and use it for energy- instead of storing it as fat.

Whole grain foods such as oatmeal, brown rice and multi-grain bread can help you eliminate twice as much belly fat as refined carbs, such as white rice and white bread. According to experts, the fiber in whole grains can help dampen the production of fat-storing insulin. You should substitute whole-grain or multi-grain bread for white bread. If you can do that, your waistline will be three times smaller than those who continue to eat white bread.
